What the network is
A stronger home without a smaller voice.
TNC Network is the media and distribution arm of The Narrative Company: a curated home for creator-led platforms, original series and collaborative public work that share a commitment to voice, meaning, rigor and cultural responsibility.
It is not a content mill, a talent agency or a demand that every creator sound alike. Each property retains its identity. The network creates the conditions for the work to be developed, produced, distributed and supported with greater coherence.
The first properties are public. Additional creator-led franchises and original series are now in development.
The operating philosophy
What the network protects—and what it makes possible.
01 · Authorship
A distinct voice
The creator’s point of view, identity and relationship to the audience remain legible. The institution strengthens authorship; it does not erase it.
02 · Stewardship
A shared standard
The work is grounded in narrative ethics, clear ownership, disciplined production and respect for the people and communities whose lives enter the record.
03 · Sustainability
Value moves both ways
Shared opportunity requires transparent terms. Development, production, distribution, sponsorship and revenue are scoped so the creator and the company can both grow.
The founding network
Two properties already show the range.

Flagship editorial platform
Stories by Stephon™
Stephon Dingle’s living editorial home—where reported stories, documentary work, cultural memory and public record show what Narrative Leadership looks like in practice. Intimate, cinematic and accountable to the people whose lives give the work meaning.

TNC Network conversation franchise
Homeboy Hotline
Culture, conversation and real life—on the line.
Hosted by journalist and cultural convener Tramon Lucas—whose work has moved from digital journalism at The Baltimore Banner to public storytelling at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum—Homeboy Hotline is conversation therapy wrapped in culture, comedy and real life. Across video, audio, social and newsletter publishing, it brings journalistic curiosity and hometown candor to music, popular culture, creative lives and the realities people are actually navigating.
How work enters
The door is curated. The path is clear.
Every entry point has a defined purpose, scope and relationship to the network. Growth is selective so that authorship, quality and mutual responsibility remain clear.
01 · Build
Creator-led franchise
A distinct platform with a coherent voice, audience, ownership model and reason to grow inside the network.
02 · Create
Original series or collaboration
A bounded body of editorial, educational or multimedia work developed with the company without requiring a permanent franchise relationship.
03 · Extend
Production, distribution or underwriting
An aligned partner contributes resources, production capacity, audience access or financial support so serious work can reach the public.
Curated Network entry
Bring the voice. Bring the work. Let’s find the right structure.
Network relationships are curated, not open enrollment. Priority goes to creators who have already practiced Narrative Leadership with us. Established platforms with a strong, values-aligned proposition may also request a fit conversation; some relationships will begin through the Institute, advisory or a defined collaboration before entering the Network.
